Teacher Becky Colglazier

Teacher Becky is excited to share this next year with your child. She believes it takes “a village to raise a child”. Her role as a teacher is to support the families she becomes a part of. Her goal is to enable children to learn and grow in a developmentally appropriate way. Teacher Becky began her career in 1999 creating a love of learning in children ages one to five. Her approach includes teaching in a “multi-sensory” way so the child has a broad foundation to grow on. She readies them for elementary school and a bright future. Prior to teaching, Becky was a Co-op Mom and “graduated” her own two children from the Gig Harbor Cooperative Preschool. She was an involved parent helping shape the future of our school and served as a Board Member for three years. She continues her commitment to our school by providing the same opportunities for growth for your children as she received for her own.

Teacher Terrie Dignam

We look forward to another year with Teacher Terrie. Since 2004, she has been a part of the GHCP family. Prior to joining us, her career included seven years of teaching toddler to pre-K kids, embracing the 18-24 age group at Highline Community College and spent considerable time volunteering with Special Needs Children. While raising her own three children, she enjoyed the co-op experience as classroom helper and Board Member.

Teacher Terrie abounds with energy herself and believes in engaging the mind and body of preschoolers as they discover the world.

Teacher Cheri Himmer

After many years in Co-op with her own 5 sons, Teacher Cheri is thrilled to be partnered with GHCP as the 2s teacher. She holds a B.A. degree in Family Life and Early Child Development and uses her passion of music and motion in her teaching.
